DEXUS appoints Tactical to the Quarry at Greystanes


The 47.6 hectare Greystanes site is part of the former Prospect Quarry which until late 2007 had been in operation for more than 100 years. The site has undergone extensive civil works in preparation for development, including the installation of roads, power, telecommunications and water and sewerage. The site has received Part 3A ministerial approval for subdivision and industrial development under the State Environmental Planning Policy No.59, Central Western Sydney Economic and Employment Area for a total of 240,000 square metres of industrial property. The Employment Lands Precinct Plan for Greystanes allows for a wide range of industrial uses including warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, storage, and research and development.
Tactical is currently appointed as Project Manager of three warehouse facilities on the site, including a 5,000sqm temperature controlled facility, a 16,500sqm warehouse and a 10,000sqm warehouse. The buildings have been designed specifically to suit the requirements of each tenant.
