Third Holiday Inn Express to open in Adelaide

Tactical Group has recently lodged a Development Application on behalf of international investment fund Pro-Invest with the Department of Lands, Transport, Property and Infrastructure (DLTPI – SA Government) for its third Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Australia.
The new 245 room hotel will be located in the vibrant Adelaide CBD location of Hindley Street, close to the Adelaide Convention Centre and the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Richard Campbell, Director of Tactical Group said “This is the third Holiday Inn Express hotel that Tactical is working on with Pro-Invest, building on our successful relationship to date. The redevelopment of the L.C. House site will mark a significant improvement to the quality of ageing building stock in the area whilst respecting the historical architectural themes that are prominent throughout Adelaide. Coupled with a substantial upgrade to the public realm, we envisage that the project will spur a new wave of rejuvenation along Hindley Street and support the economic growth of the area.”
Key features of the new hotel include meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, self-service business centre as well as high quality street front retail opportunities.
The Adelaide Holiday Inn Express is the third in Australia to be developed under the brand, following Macquarie Park (Sydney) and Spring Hill (Brisbane) developments which are currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2016.
Tactical Group is working with Pro-Invest Group, a boutique investment firm specialising in Private Equity Real Estate and Real Estate Asset Management, providing a “full service” management and delivery solution from pre-purchase, through project management and design, construction superintendence, to handover for operations.
The Holiday Inn Express brand (part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group brand stable) is currently one of the fastest growing brands in the world with over 2,317 hotels operating worldwide and an average of 2 new hotels opening every week.
